Church Street Church of the Nazarene: Phase 1 Building Project
Our first step is creating new parking to make room for growth. As the new addition replaces front parking and entrance, we will expand beside the west side of the building and into the lot behind the church. These spaces will be leveled ensuring plenty of parking. During construction, access will be through the west entrance.
Our expanded parking areas will provide easier access, more space, and a welcoming first step onto our campus. These improvements aren’t just practical — they’re paving the way for growth and connection for years to come.
For far too long, our church family has faced challenges getting in and out of the building with ease. With our new entrance, we’ve taken an important step forward in creating a space that truly welcomes everyone. This improved entryway ensures that every step into church is safer, more accessible, and more inviting for people of all ages and abilities. It reflects our heart to remove barriers, extend hospitality, and make coming to church a comfortable and joyful experience from the moment you arrive.
Our new, larger restrooms will provide more space, modern facilities, and full handicap accessibility — ensuring comfort and dignity for everyone who walks through our doors.
By bringing all staff offices into one central space, we are creating an environment that encourages stronger relationships, clearer communication, and greater collaboration among our team. This improved unity allows our staff to serve more effectively and support the ministry of the church as a whole. At the same time, this change frees up valuable space in the foyer, transforming it into a bright, open, and welcoming gathering place. This renewed area will be designed for connection, fellowship, and ministry — a space where conversations can happen, relationships can grow, and our church family can feel at home the moment they walk through the doors.
As we work together toward this new space, we do so prayerfully, seeking God’s wisdom and guidance in every decision along the way. This project is not simply about bricks and mortar, but about building a place that reflects our shared faith, values, and calling. It is about creating a welcoming environment that serves everyone — from our youngest children to our oldest members — strengthens our church family, and creates space for meaningful connection and ministry. With God at the center, we believe this work will bless our congregation and community, now and for generations to come.
